Synopsis: When Violet accepts an invitation to a private island with some of the world’s most famous social influencers, she expects a weekend of unrivaled viral opportunity. Director’s Statement:
In A Breed Apart, we will infuse our unique storytelling with adrenaline-fueled, stylized movements that zip and zoom with a life all their own. Even in the midst of heart-stopping terror, there’s a thread of dark humor so sharp, it could slice the tension with a laugh. Our tone? Think Cocaine Bear meets Cujo, spiced with the wild antics of Kick-Ass and a dash of Tropic Thunder. We’re crafting a broadly accessible narrative that’s not just a ride but a meta-referential roller coaster, with original and unpredictable action as biting as our onscreen canine horde. Our cameras aren’t just recording — they’re participants, reacting in real time to the action (even the cameraman didn’t expect that dog!). They’ll chase the pack, capturing every snarl, and then swoop over cliffs with our heroes in a way that will make you feel the wind on your face. This isn’t just a story. It’s an experience that will have audiences teetering on a knife-edge between a nervous chuckle and white-knuckle excitement…a thrill to be sought after, over and over again.
