Can you explain what Young Entertainment is and how it came to be?

Young Entertainment is a platform for fans and aspiring talent who love everything in the YA entertainment space—TV, movies, books, music, and more. We originally started with a focus on YA books, but quickly expanded into film and television as we saw how deeply audiences connected with characters, creators, and storylines. It’s become a space where entertainment lovers can connect, learn, and celebrate the industry.

What would you say sets Young Entertainment apart from other media platforms?

We’re truly the BFFs of YA entertainment. We don’t just report on shows—we dive into storylines, speak directly with actors and creators, and spotlight the creative process behind the scenes. Our approach is personal, insightful, and rooted in genuine passion for the content.

The podcast is at the heart of Young Entertainment—what is it about podcasting that works so well for your audience over other media?

Podcasting gave us the chance to speak directly to our audience in a way that’s real and conversational. It’s more than just sharing updates—it’s about creating a space where people feel like they’re part of the discussion. That kind of connection is what makes podcasting so powerful.

How has celebrity culture and fan engagement changed in recent years, and where does the Young Entertainment podcast fit into that?

Everything has become more niche and community-driven. Fans want content that reflects what they care about most, and we adapt to that. For example, when a show like “The Summer I Turned Pretty” takes off, we dedicate space to dive deep. The podcast allows us to meet those interests in a thoughtful, focused way.

What all do you cover with this podcast?

We cover movies, TV, music, the stars – and sometimes books too. Most episodes feature interviews with talent and creators from hit YA shows like “Ginny & Georgia,” “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and the upcoming “Chad Powers.” We also do deep dives, recaps, and behind-the-scenes conversations that offer real insight into the industry.

What are some of your favorite episodes that you’ve done so far?

One of our biggest hits was a full recap of “Ginny & Georgia.” It was such a fun and thoughtful discussion—breaking down characters, themes, and everything in between. Those episodes remind us why we love storytelling so much.

What are you dying to talk about next on your podcast? Is there a specific show/movie/music/book/etc. that you can’t wait to cover?

We’re both longtime Wicked fans, so when Part 2 drops, it’s going to be a big moment. There’s so much to unpack—we’re already excited for that episode.

Can you give us a hint at some guests or media that will appear in future episodes?

Let’s just say… if you’ve ever loved the High School Musical franchise, you’re definitely going to want to tune in.
