Today, Lucasfilm released the very first trailer and poster for The Mandalorian Season 2! Throughout the trailer, fans were able to get glimpses at plenty of action sequences, new characters, and of course, The Child! Check out the trailer and poster below!
With the series taking place in the Star Wars universe, the first season followed a Mandalorian bounty hunter as he navigated the galaxy trying to find safety for The Child, a force sensitive character who happens to be of the same species as Yoda. Fans have speculated that characters like Ahsoka Tano and Bo Katan from the animated Star Wars TV shows will be introduced in this second season. Returning cast members from the first season include not only the lead, Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian himself, but also Gina Carano and Carl Weathers as Cara Dune and Greef Karga.
Additionally, Sasha Banks is playing an unknown role in this upcoming season, as she was seen briefly in the trailer.
The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on October 30th on Disney+.
