On Thursday, during a PlayStation State of Play event, a new trailer and release date were unveiled for the game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits. According to Ember Lab, the game’s developer, this upcoming title will allow players to take control of “Kena, a young Spirit Guide,” as she travels to “an abandoned village in search of the sacred mountain shrine.” Throughout this beautiful journey, the player will encounter various combat scenarios, and puzzles. Kena will have little companions known as “Rots” helping her throughout the adventure.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on August 24th, 2021. Check out the trailer below!
The standard edition of Kena: Bridge of Spirits goes for $39.99 while the digital deluxe edition costs $49.99. Pictured below, pre-ordering any edition of the game will grant the player access to some celebration-themed hats that the rots can wear!
Additionally, in a recent press release from Ember Lab, it was stated that players who purchase the digital deluxe edition of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, will receive the digital soundtrack for the game, an in-game silver staff for Kena to wield, and a golden rot skin!
