Jacqueline Pirkle on finding coast to coast success

Jacqueline Pirkle has made a name for herself, stretching from the east coast to the west as she balances two careers: real estate and acting.

Born and raised in a small mountain town north of Atlanta, Jacqueline was a tomboy who loved being outside, climbing trees, riding horses and getting dirty. She was also a multi-sport athlete who excelled in gymnastics, soccer, track and softball. Despite her tomboy habits, however, she was also interested in beauty competitions and modeling competitions, for which her mom would regularly drive her to Atlanta for casting calls.

Shortly after graduating from college, Jacqueline landed in Miami, where she thrived and excelled as a real estate agent specializing in luxury pre-development condos and residential mansions for A-list clientele. Through her success in Miami Beach, she captivated the attention of “Million Dollar Wheels,” a new hit LA- based TV show about high-end clients looking to purchase luxury vehicles. She starred in the fifth episode of the first season, which was co-executive produced by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx.

How did you get into real estate?

Jacqueline: So, I started on 30A, which is also known as the Monte Carlo of the South. And it’s like an eight mile luxury European styled community. So, I moved straight out of Georgia to the closest beach [LOL] and started in real estate down there because it was just so lucrative.

Can you explain your relationship with “Million Dollar Wheels”?

Jacqueline: Yes, so I was a feature on an episode, as the luxury realtor, expanding to LA from the Florida market looking to purchase a vehicle to show to my clients.

And can you describe what the show is about?

Jacqueline: Yeah. So it’s based out of LA and my friend, who owns a luxury car dealership there, has high end clients like Kim Kardashian, Travis Barker, some other people that were on the show. Basically, they just operate a high end luxury business and they offered me an opportunity to be on an episode for housing through some of their high end vehicles. So my part was ordering a G Wagen, a G650, like the AMG Brabus, and they kind of featured me going through their inventory, ordering that, and then it being a successful deal.

You’ve said that luxury cars go hand in hand with luxury real estate, can you elaborate on that?

Jacqueline: Sure. So, with the market, it’s the same clientele in the way that people who are purchasing luxury condos and luxury residential houses also typically have high end luxury vehicles. And a lot of times we have the same clients, whether it’s a high end luxury dealership or a high end luxury real estate firm.

Okay, that makes sense. So with your real estate, are you still primarily in Miami or are you also doing real estate in LA?

Jacqueline: I’m primarily in Miami. I am in LA right now for some movies that I’m currently filming. And I go out to LA to film clips for reality TV, but my real estate work is still in Miami.

Are you allowed to talk about your movies?

Jacqueline: Yeah, I just filmed a Christmas movie to air by the end of this year starring Cuba Gooding Jr., and I am in a supporting role.

Earlier I asked how luxury cars went hand in hand with luxury real estate. Is there any sort of connection between luxury real estate and your acting career?

Jacqueline: Yeah. 100%. So, the people I meet are all intertwined in the same industry. The luxury car reality TV show connected with me because I was a luxury realtor. And then I got a bunch of clients, also in real estate, through being aired on that show for the targeted market of people that are interested in the luxury sector, so it kind of all intertwines… I am very lucky and blessed to have the opportunity. I’m very thankful.

So, because they seem to connect very well together, do you see this as being two separate careers or is it just one big career?

Jacqueline: Yeah, it could be intertwined. You know, the market right now is really hot in Miami and I’m getting business from each category, you know what I mean? So, I’ll be aired on TV, on this reality TV show, and then I get a client calling about a house and then that might even eventually tie into a “Selling Sunset” series or a brokerage firm that does air on TV. I would say they definitely go hand in hand.

Do you have any specific career goals for yourself?

Jacqueline: Absolutely. So, I would like to star in and, actually, I have another movie I’m filming at the end of this month. It is a romantic comedy and we’re planning on having Sydney Sweeney be a part of that. So, I’d like to do a few more movies and focus on acting to see where that goes.

Are there any challenges in balancing both acting and real estate?

Jacqueline: I would say so, yeah. Sometimes I get letters and handwritten letters, things in the mail, DMS on Instagram, emails- I’ve had the craziest stuff happen since I’ve been aired. Some is fan mail, but others are people saying, ‘oh, you know, I want to buy a house,’ which is kind of just an excuse to start a conversation sometimes. I’m pretty quick to respond or not, but I think that has been a downfall. I had someone write me this fan letter from, I think it was from Sweden, and there was an email that was like this love poem that was really cringy and really funny at the same time. It definitely has its downfalls when you get aired on public television, because people can just look up your real estate website and find your phone number and your office address and everything like that. It’s kind of funny though, something to laugh about later, but yeah, I get it now. I get why some fan mail is like,’ oh my gosh,’ you know, people actually experience that.

For sure. Do you have any advice for anyone who wants to achieve the lifestyle and the career that you’ve made for yourself?

Jacqueline: Absolutely. I would say that I’ve learned, with every step, even if you don’t get exactly what you want, if you have a goal and you don’t hit it, it’s the people that you’re meeting along the way. And if you always give good energy and offer to help and do the extra 100%, most of the time those people are going to circle back around and help you in the future. And that’s how I’ve met a lot of my clients. They’re all really great friends of mine. If they called me, I’d answer any time of day and do what I could for them as friends and clients. So, I would say just make sure that you’re not treating it just as business and that you’re actually putting your good character into it.
