The Last Deal also stars Anthony Molinari (Tenet), Sala Baker (Lord of the Rings), Mister Fitzgerald (“F.B.I.”), Jeffri Lauren (Inside & Out), and Mike Ferguson (Ebola Rex).

Check out our Q & A with Conner!

How would you describe The Last Deal?

Conner: The Last Deal is a fun ride. It’s such an entertaining movie with a killer soundtrack. And it’s an original idea that no one really had touched yet.

What was it about the movie that drew you in enough to audition and then what was the audition process like?

Conner: The originality and the characters really caught my eye but I also wanted to work with Jonathan. We got along pretty well during the audition process, so working with him really pushed me to it along with Anthony Molinari. He’s a legend.

When was this filmed and how long was your shoot?

Conner: We started in August 2020, mid pandemic. Which was kinda wild in itself. Everyone was eager to get back to work and do what we love. But we followed the guidelines and created a very comfortable set. I was on set only one day but it was a very fun one.

Can you tell me a little bit about your character and what you did to prepare for this role?

Conner: My characters name is Marcus. He is a young, idiot  musician who buys marijuanna from Anthony Molinari’s character in the film. And I didn’t have to go very far off the beaten path for this one. Brought a lot of myself to Marcus.

Did you have any say in creating your characters or wardrobe or anything like that?

Conner: Yeah I actually did! One of my favorite parts about this shoot was that Jonathan let me pick my wardrobe. He also let us improv the scene quite a bit so we found some funnies in there.

What was it like working with Anthony Molinari?

Conner: Hes such a pro. And extra cool. That was another thing I was excited about because he’s so savvy and been doing this for a while. I was pumped to go back and forth with him and see what his process was like on set. And try and soak up as much knowledge as I could from him.

What are 3 reasons people should watch this movie?

Conner: Three reasons people should watch this movie: it’s so fun, killer soundtrack, and Sala Baker. Such a cool villain.

So what’s next for you? Are you working on anything else at the moment?

Conner: I am currently on “The Young and the Restless” on CBS and we are coming up on our 50th anniversary in March, so some juicy stuff there. And I have a movie premiering on the Lifetime network on March 3rd called She Inherited Danger.

If people want to follow you, what social media are you on?

Conner: @connergfloyd on Instagram

Is there anything else you’d like to add about The Last Deal?

Conner: Watch it! You’ll have the best time and you’ll want to be like Anthony Molinari when you grow up.

The Last Deal is now available in theaters and on digital!
