Among those who participated in the panel were host Chris Hardwick, chief-content-officer of The Walking Dead Universe, Scott M. Gimple and showrunner of The Walking Dead, Angela Kang, along with cast members Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa McBride (Carol), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Khary Payton (Ezekiel), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), and series newcomer Michael James Shaw (Mercer).
The most recent episodes of The Walking Dead premiered earlier this year as bonus material serving as part of Season 10. In regards to those six episodes, during yesterday’s panel, Angela Kang said, “it was really fun to kind of do these very focused, intimate episodes for 10C, but, Season 11 – we’re gonna go out with a bang.”
The Walking Dead Season 11 will premiere on August 22nd on AMC, and on August 15th on AMC+.
