Benni has a plethora of experience, and a solid track record that excels in her field. Benni’s career began with her early love of cartoons and comic books. As she spent hours watching her favorite animated series, “Inspector Gadget” on Nickelodeon, her interest in the business increased. Despite her passion for animation, Benni’s career path led her to the customer service industry, where she worked as a TSA agent at Los Angeles Airport (LAX) airport for almost a decade.

In 2013, she experienced a life-changing incident when an active shooter opened fire at LAX Terminal 2, killing her coworker and injuring several other passengers. Benni decided at that moment that life was too short, and she immediately began pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a voiceover actor. Effortlessly and ironically, she successfully landed her first national commercial in which she played a TSA agent for Samsung while studying improv at the Groundlings and at the University of California, Berkely.

She is one of the few Black actresses in the voiceover world leading a major animation cartoon franchise that doesn’t rally around a black family, i.e. “The Proud Family” or “The Cleveland Show.” Her other credits include the animation web series “Lackdaisy” (2023) as “Serafine Savoy,” “Spidey and His Amazing Friends” as “Cyclist” (2022), and “Lackdaisy Comic Dubs” as “Flapper#1.”
