On Thursday, July 23rd, the clothing brand, Her Universe, will put on their 12th annual fashion show at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the Her Universe Fashion Show will take place at 6:00 PM PST in the Harbor Ballroom at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. According to the Her Universe website, wristband distribution for the event begins at 9:00 AM PST in the Harbor Ballroom Foyer on Thursday, July 23rd, which will be on a first come, first serve basis. According to a pres release for the event, “This electrifying night of inclusion and creativity will celebrate DC’s legendary storytelling, bringing together the most talented designers from around the country for a high-stakes competition of DC Super Hero– and Super-Villain–inspired couture.”
The winners of the competition will be awarded a cash prize of $2000, and, “may also be offered may also be offered the opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe.” Judges at this year’s fashion show include: Marc Malkin, Symantha Perrera, Frankey Smith, Lynleigh Sato, and Caitlin Beards. Sato and Beards were winners of the 2025 Her Universe Fashion Show.
Her Universe is a lifestyle brand founded in 2010 by Star Wars voice actress, Ashley Eckstein with the intention of creating sci-fi and superhero clothing for female fans. Owned by Hot Topic since October 2016, Her Universe has produced lots of officially licensed clothing for well-known franchises such as Star Wars, Doctor Who, Studio Ghibli, Marvel, and Star Trek.
