Maurice Compte stars in ‘Dominique’

Maurice Compte’s latest project is starring as Chief Santiago in the incredible action thriller, Dominique.

Synopsis: Dominique is a brilliant assassin left for dead in a small South American village. After the only man she cares about is savagely killed, Dominique sacrifices herself to protect his innocent family and trains them to wage a war against the bloodthirsty authorities and brutal drug cartels responsible for his death. Oksana Orlan and Maurice Compte star in this electrifying crime thriller about the power of courage and the price of vengeance.

Dominique is directed by Michael S. Ojeda (Avenged, The Russian Bride) and written by Ojeda and Oksana Orlan (The Russian Bride). The film is led by Oksana Orlan alongside Jose Conejo Martin (The Tax Collector, “Deputy”), Sebastian Carvajal (“Enfermeras,” “Thousand Fangs”), Maria Del Rosario (El Paraiso, “Echo 3”), Alanna De La Rossa (“Las Villamizar, Llanto Maldito), Gustavo Angarita (“Luna, la heredera,” The 33) and Maurice Compte.

A fan-favorite actor, Maurice is best known for playing Colonel Horacio Carillo, Pablo Escobar’s nemesis, in Netflix’s “Narcos” the leading villain (“Big Evil” Flores) in End of Watch and starring as Benny “Borracho” Magalon in Den of Thieves, opposite Gerard Butler. He also enjoyed success as Kevin Jimenez in “Mayans M.C.,” Gaff in“ Breaking Bad, ”Diego Jimenez in “Power,” and Brasa in “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series.” In addition to these roles, Maurice can be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, David Ayer’s Sabotage, and “Law & Order: SVU” as Detective Mike Duarte. Maurice is currently a co-executive producer on MGM+’s new Miami crime series “Hotel Cocaine,” from “Narcos” creator Chris Brancato. “Hotel Cocaine” tells the story of Maurice’s father, Roman Compte, managing The Hotel Mutiny. As described by Deadline, “The Mutiny Hotel was Casablanca on cocaine; a glitzy nightclub, restaurant and hotel frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars, and musicians.”
